McCLEARY, Jean (Imogene Schooley) - It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother Jean. Born on October 5th, 1923 and predeceased by her loving husband and best friend George (Bud) McCleary II.Ê Jean is survived by her children Ruth Ann and Al Thompson of Thorold and George (Duke) and Susan McCleary of Ridgeway.Ê Beloved grandmother of Art and Jen Kennedy, Mark and Tina Kennedy, Thomas McCleary and Sandy Medeiros, Megan and Rebecca McCleary and step grandmother of Elijah Lever and Laurie Funk, Rachel and Jon Fischer, Isaiah and Summer Lever and Michael Thompson.Ê Jean is also survived by several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren, her sister Marcella Trotta of Crystal Beach and her brothers Leroy Schooley of Port Colborne and Charles Schooley of Crystal Beach.Ê Jean worked at Irvin Air Chute for two years, then moved to New York City with her husband, where she worked for Chemical Bank and Trust Company before moving back to Fort Erie.Ê She then worked at Bestway Appliance Store in Buffalo, New York as a bookkeeper from 1955 until her retirement in 1990. Jean was a member of First Baptist Church, Fort Erie.Ê Jean had a beautiful spirit and loved and enjoyed her ever growing family.Ê We have truly been blessed toÊ have had such a wonderful, Godly woman in our lives, who touched our hearts and souls with gentleness and love.Ê Funeral services will be conducted in the hcapel ofÊ The Williams Funeral HomeÊ in Ridgeway on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock.Ê Friends are invited to call for one hour prior to service time.Ê IntermentÊ Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery.
