GUILD, Ruth Dobson - On Tuesday March 1, 2005 at Oakwood Park Lodge, Ruth Dobson, wife of the late Peter Russell Guild (August 17, 1968). Dearly beloved mother of Jane Spray (Daniel) and the late Patricia Henley and Kathleen O'Sullivan. Dear grandmother of Russell, Sara, Sean, Erin and Keri. Great grandmother of Sean, Madison, and Sheridan. Sister of William Dobson and the late Edna Newlands and John Dobson. Ruth was a past elder of St. Andrews United Church, a member of the church council, past president of the United Church Women and past vice president of the United Church Presbyterial and past president of the Local Council of Women. She was a former vice president of the Ontario Federation of Home and Schools, a past president of the Greater Niagara Home and School Council, a past president of Maple Street Home and School Association. She also served on the Committee of the Niagara Falls Music Theater and served on committees that established Day Care Centres in Niagara Falls. Resting at the funeral chapel of Hetherington and Deans where friends may call from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday and from 11 till the service time at 1 p.m. on Friday March 4, 2005.
