PANTELICH, Walter (Vladeta) - On Monday March 7, 2005, Walter peacefully passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital in his 83rd year.Ê Loving husband of Sophia, dear father of Alex and his wife Gina Pantelich and Helen and her husband Ross Cappa. Cherished Dodo to Kyle and Jay Pantelich and Autumn Cappa.Ê Brother-in-law to Paul and his wife Loretta Mazaris, and uncle to Victor Marinis and Mickey Borosowich, all of Niagara Falls.Ê Walter came to Canada from Yugoslavia in 1951.Ê He was a long time employee at Provincial Crane and worked at the Steven's Hotel.Ê Walter was a long time member at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. Walter is at the Morse & Son Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street.Ê His family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock.Ê Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:30 then to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church where funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Fr. Dejan Obradovic at 12 noon.Ê Interment will follow at Lundy's Lane Cemetery.Ê In memory of Walter, those who wish may make a memorial donation to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church.
