HEGELHEIMER - Herbert Linsley Hegelheimer, age 90, of Hamlet Estates, Stratford, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2005. Born in Stratford, Connecticut, August 18, 1914, son of the late Herbert Hegelheimer and the former Gertrude Linsley. Lin served with the Lincoln and Welland Regiment, St. Catharines in 1939 and later with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry from 1941- 1945. After the war he was employed with Dominion Chain in Niagara Falls and then in Stratford for 41 years until his retirement. Beloved husband for 63 years of Helen (Ferguson). Loving father of Sharon and her husband William Latimer, Edmonton and Linsley and his wife Ann, St. Thomas. Also survived by 2 grandchildren and a brother-in-law Robert Bertrand, Ottawa. Predeceased by a sister-in-law Marjorie Bertrand. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford (519) 271-7411 on Tuesday, March 15, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. James' Anglican Church, Stratford on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Venerable John Spencer will officiate. Cremation with interment in God's Holy Acre. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinsons Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. James' Anglican Church or to the charity of one's choice through the funeral home. - 3/14/2005 - ID5816444
