BELIN, Irene (nee Zannis) - Passed away peacefully on April 14th, 2005 at the St. Catharines General Hospital with her nephew Stephen Oprici and his wife Susan at her side. Predeceased by her loving husband Danny (1981). She will be deeply missed by her son Michael (Kirsi) and her grandchildren Darrol (wife Jane, daughter Katherine), Jason (wife Ramona, daughter Keyandra) and Gil (wife Sandy, children James and Ashley). Beloved sister of the late John Zannis, Anna Oprici, Maria Perkizas, the late Veldon Zannis and Harold Zannis. She will be fondly remembered by her nephews and nieces. Irene is at the Morse & Son Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes, 5917 Main Street, where her family will receive friends Wednesday, April 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen will be conducted at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock by the Rev. Fr. Dejan Obradovic. Funeral will be held Thursday morning at 11:30 at the funeral home, and then to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church where the service will be held at 12 o'clock. Interment at Lundy's Lane Cemetery.
