SACCO, Frank - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, on Saturday, April 16, 2005, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Jennie (1996). Dear father of Mary Jane and her husband Domenic Elia. Loving grandfather of Robert Dunnett (Barb Rosati), Michael Elia (Kristine Speck) and Joseph Elia. Great grandfather of Taylor and Eric Dunnett. Brother of Rose Hagan of St. Catharines. Also survived by his in-laws Marjorie Sacco, Rose Maraldo, Fred Maraldo and Frances Maraldo and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Carlo and Joseph and his sister Mary Colallilo, and in-laws John and Dorothy DeLoise, Tony and Bertha Maraldo, Jim and Josephine Maraldo, Nick Maraldo and Frank and Teenie Maraldo. Frank was involved in many organizations over the years including the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 479, Knights of Columbus, the Holy Name Society of St. Ann's, and the Horseshoe Club of Cyanamid. He will be remembered as the "famous cook" at the Hunting Club. Frank is at the Morse & Son Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes, 5917 Main Street, where his family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil will be held Monday at 3 o'clock. A service under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 479 will be conducted at 7 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Ann's Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. For those who wish donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Leukemia Research Fund.
