VESCIO - BENITO VESCIO - Suddenly Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at age 69. Benito was born in the village of Conflenti, Catanzaro, Italy, July 24, 1935. Beloved husband for 39 years, of Filippina (Stranges) Vescio. Dear father of Josephine Ferro, husband Vince, Angelo Joe Vescio, wife Lina, Jenny Mancuso, husband Victor and Domenic (Mickey) Vescio and Katy Johnston, all of Niagara Falls. Nonno Benny will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Vincent, Daniel, and Sara Ferro and Sofia and Isabella Vescio whom he loved and cared for with all his heart. Brother of Luigi Vescio, wife Caterina, Angela Stranges, husband Luigi, Domenico and wife Teresa Vescio, and brother-in-law Antonio Serra, all of Niagara Falls. Brother of Paolina Vaccaro and the late Pietro, Italy. Predeceased by his parents Angelo Giuseppe & Giuseppina Vescio and by his sister, Giovanna Serra. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and Australia. Benito was employed until his retirement, for over 25 years with Salit Steel. Friends are invited to call at the NIAGARA FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5647 MAIN ST., NIAGARA FALLS, Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Vigil prayers Sunday 3:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated for family and friends at 11:00 AM., Monday, April 18th, St. Thomas More Church, 6548 Dorchester Rd., Niagara Falls. Entombment will follow in Fairview Mausoleum.
