NEIL, Margaret - Peacefully at Welland County General Hospital on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 in her 86th year, dear sister of Isobel and her husband Edward Lanthier, Jessie and her husband Clive Acaster and Wilma and her husband Edward Lang. Loving aunt to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Fred Neil of Omaha, Nebraska. Margaret was born on September 8, 1919, in Ayr, Scotland and came to Canada when she was 6 years of age. Margaret spent most of her adult life working at Douglas Memorial Hospital and retired in 1984. She was actively involved in the Rebekka Lodge and was also an avid gardener and part of the Fort Erie Horticultural Society. Margaret was an active member of St. Andrew's Knox Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received t the Fort Erie Chapel of the Davidson Funeral Homes, 21 Wintemute Street on Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 o'clock. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
