NAYLOR, Elaine - Peacefully on April 28th, 2005 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 74.Ê Beloved wife and friend of Derrick for 51 years.Ê Loving mother of Garry, Philip George (Amanda) and Susan Naylor (Ken).Ê Proud grandmother of Shannon (Shane), Jason, Bobby, William, Stephanie, Jessica and Kodee-Lee.Ê Great grandmother of Destiny, Riley and Zachary.Ê Dear sister of Ron Washington and Beryl Cleaver. Survived by several nieces and nephews in Canada and England.Ê Sister-in-law of Cathy (Stan) Hall of Stevensville, Phyllis Washington of England, Edna Archer, Nellie Butler, Sheila (Guilio) Gulietti, Dennis (Doreen) Naylor and Alfred (June) Naylor.Ê Predeceased by her parents George and Annie Washington, her son Martin, her brother John (England), her sisters-in-law Doreen Washington and Ivy Naylor and her brothers-in-law John Robert Naylor, Ken Archer and Ken Butler.Ê Elaine was an avid knitter and was best known for her humorous attitude.Ê She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 396.Ê She lived in Africa before coming to Canada in 1966. Cremation has taken place.Ê Elaine is at the Morse & Son Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes, 5917 Main Street where her family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m.Ê A service to celebrate her life will be held on at Holy Trinity Church on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Ê For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer Society.
