MERCER, Leola Pauline - Of Fort Erie, passed away at the Maple Park Lodge on Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at the age of 77 years. Mrs. Mercer was employed at Zellers for over 17 years before her retirement in 1990. She is predeceased by her husband Mervin Robert Mercer; her daughter Carol-Lee Zebec; her parents Oscar and Mildred Brown as well as 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She is sadly missed by her children Judy Lee (Larry) of Clinton, Ont., Larry Mercer of Peterborough, Bob Mercer, Don Mercer and Lisa Mercer, all of Fort Erie. Dear grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Also survived by son-in-law John Zebec of Fort Erie as well as 1 sister and 1 brother. The Mercer Family will receive visitors at the Fort Erie Chapel of the Davidson Funeral Homes, 21 Wintemute St. Friday, May 20, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service time at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Gloria Christian officiating. Cremation is to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
