Iota L. Carroll 1921 - 2005 Iota L. Carroll, 83, widow of Richard "Dick" Carroll, formerly of Leslie St. Moncton, passed away peacefully with dignity at ProTem Health Care Services, Gorge Road, Moncton on Monday, May 23, 2005. Born in Cormier Village, NB, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Amanda (Robichaud) Boleyn. Iota was a former employee of G.B. Murphy Jewelers Ltd. She was a member of St. Augustine's and St. Michael's Roman Catholic Parishes, and was a former member of the St. Michael's C.W.L. She is survived by one daughter, Lorna Rose and her husband Tom Ranahan of Orleans, ON.; two sons, Rev. Fr. Allison Carroll of Moncton, Glenn and his wife Debbie Carroll of Riverview; two grandchildren, Matthew and Katie Carroll; one sister, Yolande Landry of Moncton; one brother, Donald and his wife Elizabeth Boleyn of Cape Pelé; and by two nieces and two nephews. She was predeceased by husband Richard "Dick" Carroll in 1992; and by an infant son, Joseph Michael Carroll. Visitation will be at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Mountain Road and Dominion Street Moncton, on Thursday, May 26, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church on Friday, May 27, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Iota's memory made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
