WHITLOCK, JOAN MARGARET On May 17, 2005 Joan Margaret Whitlock, formerly of Fredericton, passed away in Yorkton, Saskatchewan at the age of 72. Born in Saint John, NB she was a daughter of the late Leslie Gordon and Mary Margaret (Gaffney) Chamberlain. She is survived by two sons Sam Melvin (Heather) of Fredericton and Gary Whitlock (Cindy) of Fredericton; three daughters Mary Saunders (George) of Penniac, NB, Barb Goulash (Rudy) of Yorkton, SK, Linda Hanson (Darren) of Fredericton; stepchildren Leon Whitlock (Juanita) of Hartland, NB and Rita Hood (Eldon) of Fredericton; sisters Isabelle Ledden of Nova Scotia and Doreen Arbo of Saint John; brothers Leonard Chamberlain (Mary) of Saint John and Gerald Chamberlain (Pat) of Pembroke, ON; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her husband Benjamin Whitlock; a son Aubrey Whitlock; brothers Gordon, Eldon, Fred and Robert Chamberlain; sisters Thelma Chamberlain and Jean Shirley Chamberlain. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday May 25, 2005 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Joe Beesley officiating.
