EDGAR, DAVID JOHN - It is with sadness we announce the death of David John Edgar, May 22, 2005, of Crafts Cove Road, Belyea's Cove, Wickham, NB. David was born in Doncaster, England, September 10, 1944, the son of the late Frederick and Linda Edgar. Upon David's arrival in Canada he worked with Atomic Energy Canada Limited, in research, at Chalk River, ON. He later enjoyed a career for a time with Ontario Hydro before joining NB Power as a consultant dealing with Nuclear Safety and most recently worked with Atlantic Nuclear Services in Fredericton, NB. Enjoying partial retirement and his beloved "Farm", David worked hard to create their "Eden" and loved their special place in the "Cove". David could not believe his luck in finding himself in such a wonderful community and the special people there that have been such a great support during his illness. David was quite simply an incredibly fine man. We know we are not alone in saying, "We miss you David". David is survived by his partner of 20 years, Linda Ann Riley and their daughter Elizabeth Ann Edgar. He is also survived by his daughter Victoria Edgar, ON, his son Graham Edgar, ON, and stepchildren: Angela (Shawn) Quinn, Orlando, FL, April Riley, Erin Riley and Meghan Riley, one brother Keith Edgar (June) of Doncaster, England, five grandchildren: Jordan Edgar, Tyler Edgar, Samantha Edgar, Maxwell Edgar and Riley Allaby, several special nieces: Lorraine (Darren ) Barrows, Joanne (Anuj) Joshi and special nephew: Paul Edgar (Heather), great nieces Beth and Hannah and great nephews Ross and Ben, all of England. He was predeceased by his parents: Fred and Linda Edgar. Last, but certainly not least, David will be missed by his beloved dogs: George, Rose and Isabella. Honorary Pallbearers are John Jackson Sr., Elmer Greenslade, Gerry Gogan, Randy Barnes, Les Ducey, Jim Lee, Doug Conway SR., Gordon LeBlanc, Ken Cusack and Keith Scott. Following cremation, visiting will be at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156), Norton, NB Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service conducted by Rev.
