Gladys E. Vickers BARNETTVILLE, NB - Mrs. Gladys E. Vickers, widow of Hayward Vickers, of Barnettville Road, Barnettville, NB, passed away Wednesday evening, May 25, 2005, at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, at the age of 83. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Ella (Parsons) Goodine. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville, member of A.C.W. She was very active in church affairs. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon J. Vickers of Fredericton, NB; one son, Byron Vickers (Beatrice) of Moncton; one daughter-in-law, Ann Vickers of Codys, NB; two sisters, Beatrice Weldon of Westfield, NB and Dorothy Neilson of St Catherines, ON; one brother, Lawrence Goodine (Margaret) of Crossfield, Alberta; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two step grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one daughter, Cheryl; one son, Alvin; and three brothers, Alfred, Albert, and Edward. Mrs. Gladys E. Vickers is resting at Holy Trinity Anglican Church Slumber Room, Blackville, with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville, with Father Richard Harris officiating.
