HAWKES, MARGARET JANE - The death of Margaret J. Hawkes, age 89, wife of the late Robert E. Hawkes, O'Neill Road, NB occurred at her residence, on Friday, May 27, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Heber M. and Mary E. (Benson) Smith. Margaret is survived by her sons; Herbie and Doreen, Belleisle Creek, Bill and Betty, Quispamsis, George and Cheryl, French Village, daughters; Lucy and Herb Creighton, Sussex, Ruby and Eddie Masson, Quispamsis, thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughter, Verna Mary, brothers William, Eules, Victor, Elmer, Everett, Isaac, Heber, and George and sisters; Ina and Sadie. Margaret is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home,(839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be from St. Simon and St. Jude's Anglican Church, Belleisle Creek, at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2005.
