Abel BENTLEY

Bentley, Abel (Ben). After a short illness, passed away at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on May 24, 2005 at the age of 87. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Patricia, his sons, Robert (Georgette), Michael (Janet) and his daughter Beverley. Beloved grandfather of Mark (Colleen), Russell (Kinuyo), John Paul and Kierra and great0grandfather of Tyler and Devin. Ben also leaves to mourn his sister Olive and brother-in-law Fred. Ben retired from Air Canada in 1977 after 30 years of service and will be greatly missed by family, the Camp ''4'' Winds and Florida friends. Special acknowledgement goes to the staff of the ICU Unit of the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella) on Monday, May 30th from 10 - 12 a.m. followed by a funeral service at the Mount Royal Cemetery Chapel at 12:30 and thence for burial in the cemetery.
