WILLMETS, Douglas Herbert C.D. Born on March 14th, 1921 in Montreal, Doug passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2005 at the Perley and Rideau Veteran's Health Centre. Beloved husband of Bertie (nee Jones), father of Stephen (Vivian) and Michael (Widy) and grandfather of Eric and Ian. A decorated career soldier, Doug volunteered for the Canadian Army during the 1939 war effort and remained in uniform until retirement in 1971.
