Art WINGATE

WINGATE, Art On Saturday, April 30th, 2005, after a long courageous battle with Alzheimers, Art passed away peacefully with family at his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Dorothy (French), dearly loved and respected father of Bob (Chris) and Kathy (Brian Labelle); cherished Poppa to Matt and Julie Wingate; Jesse, Jon and Shane Binks. Also survived by his sisters Alice and Joan (Ambridge), sister-in-law Judy Wingate and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers John, Herb, Lorne and Ken. A special thank you to the angels of floor 7 at the Carlingview Manor for their care and compassion. As requested, the funeral will be private. Family will meet with friends to celebrate Art's life on Thursday, May 5th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, (between Bayshore and Baseline Road).
