ASPREY, John. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Asprey at the age of eighty-two years at the Plummer Hospital at Sault Ste. Marie in Ontario, on April 20, 2005. John and his wife Barbara who recently passed away, were former longtime residents of Greenfield Park and one of the founding members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 94. He will be greatly missed with all their hearts by his children, Peter (Patricia), Gary, Philip and Wendy, grandchildren Andrea, David, Brian, Jenna, Ashleigh and Jessica, and great-grandchild Kristin. Memorial contributions to be made to the Shriners in care of John Asprey, in trust to Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home, 165 Brock St., Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, P6A 3B8.
