GAZDIK, Dorothy Amy. Dorothy (Dori) Gazdik passed away quietly on April 28, 2005, in her fifty-sixth year. Much loved daughter of the late Michaela (Mausi) Pap of Westmount, Quebec and Julian Thomka-Gazdik of Bedford, New York. Loving, beloved, devoted and much missed mother of Derek Vesey (Martha) and life-long best friend of William McNally. She is also survived by her brothers Julian of New York City and Andrew of Palm Beach. A memorial mass will be held at The Ascension of Our Lord Church, 375 Kitchener, Westmount, on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at 11 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to "The Dori Gazdik Fund For Research in Family Caregiving" care of the Department of Family Medicine, St. Mary's Hospital, 3830 Lacombe Avenue, Montreal, Quebec, H3T 1M5.
