TUBBE, Lorna (nee Bray) Peacefully in sleep on May 4, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Loving and devoted wife of the late Edmund, an inspiration to son Robert (Joan) and daughter Barbara (Whetter/York), grandchildren Nancy Matthews (Mike), David (Ghislaine/Jessie), Brian (Danila), Jeff Whetter (Shannon Pickering) and Corey Whetter and 5 great-grandchildren. Also survived by devoted brothers Jack (Margaret), Art (Dorothy), Stan (Helen) and sister Elizabeth Mayfield (John). A courageous and gracious lady who touched the hearts of those she met. Smiling to the end, she leaves behind fond memories of many friends and relatives to join her beloved husband. The family is touched by the genuine kindness of the staff and residents who became her caring friends at Orleans Villa. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, on Sunday, May 8, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, May 9 at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow.
