Irene CZERNECKE

ROGERS, Irene (nee Czernecke) Passed away peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on the evening of April 24, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Peter Rogers. Loving mother of Steven and his wife Dayle, Pat Huntly of Ottawa and Angela Kauk and husband Greg of Burlington. Proud grandmother of Rebecca, Benjamin and Kimberly Mardell of Ottawa. Survived by her sisters, Christine Czerneck and Stephanie Dooley (nee Czernecke) and her husband William; and by her brother Walter Czernecki and his wife Dawn. Also survived by four nieces, three nephews and twelve great-nieces and nephews. Funeral and cremation have taken place in Kitchener, Ontario. Interment will take place May 14, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pinecrest Cemetery in Ottawa with a reception to follow. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 5/7/2005
