COLASANTI, Gino After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Gino, age 78, died peacefully surrounded by his family Friday, May 13, 2005. Beloved husband of Rina Giammaria. Loving father of Ben (Sandra Vidoni) and Maria Pia. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Mattia, Alana, Jordan, Giancarlo and Jessica. Dear brother of Armando, Alfredo, Antonio and Lidia of Frosinone, Italy. Survived by his mother-in-law Amelina, in-laws, Alvaro and Loreta Giammaria, Bruno and Norma Giammaria, Franco and Francesca Giammaria, Giuseppe and Rosetta Giammaria, Teresa and Tommaso Balice all of Ottawa and Maria and David Merry of New Hampshire. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street (centretown) Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday to St. Anthony's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. Entombment Capital Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre appreciated.
