GRENON, Gloria (Smith) (nee Richardson) Peacefully on May 12, 2005, aged 72 years. Dear daughter of the late Elmer and Evelyn Richardson. Wife of the late Ronald Grenon and the late Martin Smith. Cherished Mother of Karen Gorr (Dennis), Stephen Smith (Margaret), Wendy Nezan (the late Ted Blain), Mark Smith, Kelly Fong-Mulligan (Kevin) and the late Michael Smith R.N., and Robert Smith. Beloved Granny to 15 grandchildren and Great-Granny to 7 great-grandchildren. Dear Sister of Gary Richardson (Margaret), Sharon Way (George), Lynn Scharf (Ken), and the late Joy, Grace, Shirley, and Wayne. She was much loved and is fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family, by the way she embraced life and its many challenges. Special thanks to the medical staff at the Ottawa General Hospital, Elisabeth Bruyere Palliative Care Unit, and quilters Pakenham Sew What Club (Victoria Quilts). Family and friends may celebrate her life at a memorial service at Cedarview Alliance Church, 2784 Cedarview Road, Nepean, on Monday, May 16, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Elisabeth Bruyere PCU, Oncology Fund (#9731040), Ottawa Hospital Foundation, or Victoria Quilts Canada, appreciated by the family.
