BONNAH, Leo Gerald Sunday, May 15, 2005, after an illness he endured with great patience and dignity. Born on September 29, 1924. Leo was a Royal Canadian Navy Veteran, a long time employee of National Research Council, a gifted handyman, but most importantly a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Kay (nee O'Donoghue), his daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Mike (Hawkes), Elaine, Colleen and Doug (Haferkamp), and Linda and Andrew (Matejcic) and by his adored grandsons Evan, Neal, and Brandon. Leo was predeceased by his brother Wilbert (Yolande) and sisters Isabel (Rolly) and Rita (Lomer), and is survived by his dear sister Mary (Wes) and his brother Mike. Family members would like to thank their friends, the nurses of the fifth and seventh floors of the Ottawa General Campus, and Dr. Isabelle Bence-Bruckler and Dr. Harry Atkins for their kindness and support.
