SCRIVENS, Brenda Joan (Verhoeven) In hospital, with her family by her side, after a very courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, May 14, 2005, Brenda Scrivens (Verhoeven) of Winchester in her 43rd year. Beloved wife of Tom Scrivens. Loving daughter of Willie Bosch and John Verhoeven (Margie). Cherished sister of Helen (Tim Parsons), Patricia (Garry Poirier) and Lisa. Loving aunt of Sean and Liam Parsons, Joshua and Cole Poirier, Gyasi Fuller, and Scott, Sean and Monica Scrivens. Will be fondly remembered by the Scrivens family and many relatives in Holland. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street, (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Wednesday in the Chapel for Service at 11 a.m. Inurnment Spring Hill Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be most appreciated.
