WELT, Hyman (Hy). In his eightieth year peacefully and with dignity, on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, with family by his side. Beloved husband of fifty-six years of Rhoda Bordoff. Loving father and father-in-law of Lenny Welt, and Ellen and Richard (Jon) Dennick. Cherished Poppy of Matthew and James. Dear brother-in-law of Rucie and the late Harry Segall, Lawrence and Claire Bordoff. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses Isaac and Rhoda Welt, Sylvia and Milton Smith. Lovingly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Hy will be remembered as a gifted photographer who captured people's simchas in his own special way. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W., on Thursday May 19 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Family Estates Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 5594 Parkhaven, Cote St-Luc. A special thank you to Dr. Mark Rabinovitch and the staff of the ICU and 15th floor east of the Montreal General Hospital for their compassion and care.
