MacDONALD, Rhoda Peacefully at the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria on Tuesday, May 17, 2005. Rhoda MacDonald of Alexandria, a former teacher and farmer; age 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth MacDonald. Dear daughter of the late Malcolm MacGillivray and the late Isabella MacDonald. Rhoda is survived by her sister Anna MacDonald (Gordon) of Alexandria and sister-in-law Margaret Anderson (Charles) of Maxville. She is predeceased by her brother Donald MacGillivray (Claire) of Dalkeith; sisters Elizabeth Fraser (Donald) of Dalkeith and Sara Mennie (the late Ivan) of Alexandria; and brothers-in-law Sidney MacDonald (Muriel) of Huntsville, Campbell MacDonald (the late Gretta) of Dalkeith and Donald. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (525-2772) on Thursday May 19, 2005 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Kirk Hill United Church on Friday, May 20, 2005 at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Kirk Hill United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Kirk Hill United Church, Alzheimer Society, or Community Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
