Marie Ann LAFRANCE

LAFRANCE, Marie Ann Peacefully at the Hospice at May Court, May 21, 2005, in her 72nd year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and soul mate, Marston. Special Mom of Marc (Merrily), Lisa (Nicholas), Andre (Trish) and Jay (Julie). Loving Gran Marie Ann to Antonia, Georgia and Erica. Marie Ann was a lover of life, great food and the outdoors. She spent many wonderful summers in Isaac's Harbour, NS, and restful weekends at Big Gull Lake. The "big old house" on Cameron Ave was her family refuge, where she also hosted many lively dinner parties for friends as well. Friends are invited to the Billings Estate, Cabot St., Ottawa, from 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, May 23rd. In lieu of flowers, Marie Ann requested that donations be made to the "Carleton University - Marston LaFrance Fellowship", Development and Alumni, Room 510 Robertson Hall, Carleton University, Ottawa, ON, K1S 5B6.
