Fraser Malcolm CHAMPION

CHAMPION, Fraser Malcolm Tragically, Fraser lost his life in a kayaking accident in Newfoundland, on Saturday, May 21st, 2005 at the age of 27. Beloved son of Carole and Malcolm Champion. Devoted partner of Rosy Pongratz - the love of his life. Best friend and brother to Alastair. Grandson of Gwen and Bill Ramsay, predeceased by grandparents Mary and Randell Champion. He will be sadly missed by Denise, Lisa and Kelsey Rideout and Julia Gutsik. Fraser leaves behind many relatives and many, many friends all over the world. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. During his short life Fraser climbed many mountains and paddled many rivers! Visitation will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27th. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 28th at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 685 Walkley Road, Ottawa. No flowers please. A trust fund has been set up to fulfill Fraser's wishes.
