GARVIE, Lloyd Retired RCAF and DND Peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 in his 84th year. Dear husband of Maxine Cooke Garvie and predeceased by his first wife Florence Henderson. Loving father of Lynne, Ken (Molly), and Doug (Denyse). Grandfather of Drew, Kate and Craig. Brother of Angus of Swift Current, SK. Also survived by extended family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre for their loving attentive care. The family will receive friends at Kanata United Church, 33 Leacock Dr., Kanata on Saturday from 9:30 until time of memorial service at 10 a.m., followed by a reception. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations to the Perley Rideau Veterans Health Foundation, the Alzheimer Society or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
