NICHOLSON, Joseph Stephen Member Korean War Veterans Association Royal Canadian Legion Branch #72 Pembroke Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday May 24, 2005, at the age of 75 years. Joseph Nicholson of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Anna Nicholson (nee Gillis). Dear father of Starr Freethy (Al), Petawawa, Stephen Nicholson (Barb Hicks), Creemore, and Cindy Poole (Mark), Petawawa. Loving grandfather of Jody, Cindy-Sue, Neil, Jason, Jessie-Jo and Owen. Joseph is predeceased by his brother Ronald and sister Maude. Son of the late John and Mary (nee Perry) Nicholson. Relatives and friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday morning May 28 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Columba's Cemetery, (Members of R.C.L. Br #72 and the Korean Veterans Association will meet at the Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday). In memory of Joseph, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
