HILBORN, Gordon Westaway Peacefully, on May 25, 2005, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Audrey. Dear father of Liz Sheets (Rodney) of Logan Lake BC, Janie and Paul (Jeannette van Essen). Dear grandfather of Peter Sheets (Aladina) of Trail BC, and the late David Sheets. Great-grandfather of Jordan and Andrew. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Margaret Johns. Graduate of the Class of 1934 Victoria College, followed by graduate work at Johns Hopkins in Romance Languages. Joined the Department of External Affairs in 1941, and was an active member for many years at Dominion-Chalmers United Church. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, May 30, 2005 at 1 p.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.
