TAVARES, Jose Moniz. Passed away peacefully May 27, 2005 at the age of eighty-two at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Montreal. Beloved husband of the late Olivia Sousa Tavares. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his three sons Tony, Jack and Mike and by his grandchildren Brian, Matthew, Michael, and Erin and by his daughters-in-law and his extended family and many friends. The family's warm thanks to Jean Carmen and all of the staff of the sixth floor of Hopital Hotel Dieu Pavillon Le Royer as well as Marta and Isabel for their loving care. Visitation will be held at on May 29 from 7 to 10 p.m. and on May 30 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Santa Cruz Church, 60 Rachel West, Montreal on May 31 at 10 a.m. followed by a burial at the Cote des Neiges Cemetery.
