VIETGEN, Heinz, Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 73, on May 11, 2005 after a short battle with cancer. Heinz will be missed by his beloved wife Monika of 47 years and children Jasmin (Gill), Ronald and Peter. Loving Opa of Robbie (Courtney) and Michelle. Also survived by his brother Adolf and sisters Erika, Heidi, Cora and Gudrun and spouses, all of Bremen, Germany. Fondly remembered by Bob Fuciarelli and friends and relatives across Canada, U.S., U.K. and Germa ny. After immigrating to Canada in 1956, Heinz was a painter and decorator, employed by Galloway and Sons and McNamara and Reynolds. He later was self-employed for many years before working for the Lincoln County Board of Education, retiring in 1995. Mr. Vietgen is at the DOWNTOWN CHAPEL of the BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 33 Duke Street at James (behind the Court House). The family will receive friends on May 13, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church, 60 5 Vine St. at Parnell Road on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Special thanks to Dr. Sandra Hartman, Babes Morales, Faye, Avita and Pastor Mitch Sylvia and the wonderful staff at CCAC.
