THORNE, Gladys May, Peacefully surrounded by her family and friends at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday, May 23, 2005 in her 64th year. Dear wife of Walter Ernest Thorne. Beloved mother of Helen Louise and Howard Keel and Shauna Marie C anton (Thorne). Cherished grandmother of Howard Brandon Keel and Erica Lee Keel. Sister of Helen, special buddy to the two Brians. Glady is predeceased by her parents and brothers and sisters John, Grace, Ann, Katie, Stan, Vi, Isabel and Kenneth. Cre mation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at the PATRICK DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL (39 Court Street, St. Catharines, 905-685-6584) on Friday, May 27, 2005 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at Playmore Bowling Lanes in Port Dalhousie (corner of Main and Elgin). In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Catharines Minor Baseball Association would be appreciated by the family.
