Gerald BUSCHLEN

BUSCHLEN, Gerald (Calvin), Passed away suddenly on May 31, 2005 at the age of 78. Dear husband of Marion (55 years). Father of Leslie (Henry) O'Hagan and Heather (Mike) Felschiem. Papa of Hayley and Michael O'Hagan and Brett and Amanda Felsheim. Als o survived by his brother Bill (Freda) Buschlen and family; sister-in-law Jane Allan and family. Gerry served in the Second World War aboard the U.S.S. Alaska of which he was extremely proud. Gerry worked as a firefighter for 4 years for the City of St. Catharines. Gerry then worked at the St. Catharines Standard and retired in 1991 after over 40 years of loyal service, Gerry worked at the Auto Trader Magazine, a job in which he loved. Gerry was a long time member of the Jaycees, Kiwanis and spe nt many years with Junior Achievement. Gerry also loved to golf, fish and woodwork. Gerry's unique grin and presence amongst his family and countless friends will be greatly missed...Go Leafs Go! Cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, June 8th at 2 p.m. at the C.A.W. 199 Hall, 124 Bunting Road in St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Chedoke McMaster Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
