Lynne F. MCGUIRE

Lynne F. McGuire Lynne F. McGuire, 62, of Riverview, passed away quietly at her residence, Saturday, May 28, 2005. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Margaret M. (Grace) McGuire. Lynne will be sadly missed by her sisters, Margot Wilson and Karen McGuire; brother, Brian McGuire; nephew, Andrew; and nieces Maureen, Erine and Lindsey. In 1963, Lynne received her Registered Nursing Degree. She then went on to complete her Bachelor in Nursing Degree, her Degree in Bachelor of Nursing in Public Health and her Masters Degree in Education at UNB. Lynne worked as a Health Care and Health Care Education Professional starting her career in 1964 and retiring in 1996 after 23 years as an instructor at the Saint John School of Nursing. Lynne was dedicated to finding ways of bringing comfort to all in need and she was especially committed in helping others directly and through prayer in pursuing a life based on Jesus Christ. Lynne counseled with Biblical Counseling Ministries under the leadership of Ralph and Joyce Knepper. She was also very active in David's Heart Ministries. Lynne later became a member of the Board of Directors of both organizations. A Memorial Service will be held at Kings Valley Weslyan Church, Quispamsis on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Reception to follow the service. In Lynne's memory donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or memorial of donor's choice would be appreciated.
