William "Glyn" Orvle Bryans July 03, 1922 - May 30, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Duncan) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of a father, grandfather and friend. Glyn has gone to be with his Lord. Glyn is predeceased by his wife Helena, his parents Richard and Mildred, his sister Olive and brother Clifford. He is the beloved brother of June Bryans, and dear friend of Lexa. Glyn served with pride and honor in the RCAF, WW 2. He is the beloved father of Bill Bryans (Anita), of West Kilbride, Scotland, Glynda-Jane Murchie (Drew), Gary Bryans, Phil Bryans (Tracey) of Cambridge, Ontario, and Lolly Nehme (Jay) of Montreal, Quebec. He is the beloved Grampie B of Wendy, Andre, Lara, Joshua, Kathryn, Trevor, Sarah, Rachael, Jeremy, Zachary and Victoria. Beloved great-grandfather of Billy, Jacob and Sarah Rauch. He will be missed by friends and family alike. Thank you from his children to his sister June for her love and support at this difficult time. Special thanks to Trudy at Royal Jubilee (Victoria) hospital for her kindness. Visitation at Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road, Duncan, BC from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2005. Funeral service at Duncan Pentecostal Church, 931 Trunk Road, Duncan, BC on Friday, June 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Varney, Ontario. Ecclesiastes 4:4 “ . . . a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.” And we are happy he went dancing.
