Hazel M. Russell Hazel Margaret Russell, 87, of The Spencer Nursing Home and formerly John Street, Salisbury passed away at the home on Tuesday May 31, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Born in Nixon Settlement she was a daughter of the late John and Nora (Douthwright) Ayles. Hazel was a former office manager with Northwood Lumber Co. of Toronto. She was a member of Five Points Baptist Church and had attended the Monday Morning Merry Makers in Salisbury. She will be sadly missed by her family including her beloved husband of 63 years Lewis; children, Lawrence, Moncton, Nora Cooper, East York, On., Linda Russell, Uxbridge, On., Allen (Anne) Wasis; a sister, Delta Carroll, Moncton; six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Frieda Ayles, Leona Glawson, Helen Horsman; brothers, Guy, John, Lawrence and Lloyd Ayles. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visitation Friday, June 3, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. until the Funeral at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel with Rev. John Holt officiating.
