Clayton Andrew Foran MIRAMICHI, NB - The death of Mr. Clayton Andrew Foran husband of the late Lillian (Trevors) Foran of Northwest Road, Sunny Corner, NB, occurred on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 78. Born in Halcomb, NB he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary (Matchett) Foran. Clayton was a retired miner from Heath Steel Mines and an avid fisherman, hunter and storyteller. Clayton was also a hunting and fishing guide, a member of the North and South Esk Lions Club and the Islandview Senior Citizens. Clayton is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Sutherland (Earl) of Exmoor, NB; Loretta Sutherland (Calvin), Monica Vanderbeck (Stephen) all of Sunny Corner, NB, Judy Levi of Red Bank, NB; four sons, Joseph (Lois) of Miramichi, NB, Paul (Marlene), Robert (Joanne) all of Sevogle, NB, Warren (Josie) of Mississauga, ON; two sisters Elaine Murphy (Grover) of Toronto, ON, Laura Yurick of Thunder Bay, ON; 22 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Lillian (1985), Clayton is predeceased by brothers James, Gerald, Mike, Murdock, Mark, Fred, Delmont; sisters, Ruby, Helen, Margaret, Caroline, Francis, Monica; and son-in-law, Gerald Levi. The family will receive visitors at Meadows Funeral Home, on Thursday, June 2, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St.Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church on Saturday at 1pm with Father Paul Doucet officiating. Burial will follow in the St.Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
