Margaret Ann Isabel MacDougall Funeral arrangements by Campbell's Funeral Home Margaret Ann Isabel MacDougall age 91 of Amherst passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Born in Hopewell Cape, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Harry and Annie (MacEachern) Fownes. In her younger years Margaret enjoyed working in the garden with her husband John. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother, and will be sadly missed. She is survived by one son Roderick of Amherst; three grandchildren Roderick Gordon, Mark Allen and Christine Ann all of Amherst; two great grandchildren Halie and Jared; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John Patrick (J.P.); one son John Allen; brother Donald Fownes; sisters Dorcas Fownes, Lillian White, Jean Brooks and Muriel Alward. There will be no visitation by request. A private family gathering will take place in the Amherst Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the First Baptist Church, Amherst.
