Arthur "Art" White 1913 - 2005 Arthur "Art" Joseph White, of Riverview, passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Friday, June 3, 2005 at the age of 91. Born in Campbellton, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Lemieux) LeBlanc. He was a retired businessman having worked at Investor's Syndicate, and owning his restaurant in Bathurst, the Chaleur Center during the 1950's and 60's. He attended St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, and was a member of the Moncton Golf and Country Club, Mountain View Golf and Country Club, Gowan Brae Golf and Country Club (Bathurst) and the Bathurst Curling Club. Art was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by daughter, Diane Buchanan (Bruce) of Riverview; sons, Barry White (Mary Lou) of Halifax, NS and Jim White (Linda) of Moncton; grandchildren, Jamie White of Ottawa, Christopher White of Halifax, Sean Buchanan and Kathleen Buchanan, both of Riverview and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie M. (Teed) in 1988; a son, Paul in 1954; sister, Theresa; brothers, Randolph, Arnold, George, Arthur, Ernie and Rene. Resting at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview, on Sunday, June 5, 2005 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church on Monday, June 6, 2005 at 10:00 am with Fr. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Shediac Road Catholic Cemetery. Donations made to the memorial of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
