Margaret Buchanan February 03, 1927 - June 2, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Chapel Lawn Funeral Home Ruth passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital with her children at her side. Ruth was born on February 3, 1927 in Moncton, N.B., where her only sister Dorothy (Basil) Field still resides. Ruth was a dedicated member of Shaughnessy United Church and an active member of the U.C.W. Her family and friends were the centre of her life. Ruth’s family offers sincere thanks to the I.C.U. staff at Concordia Hospital. Ruth leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her children Linda (Martin) Vernon, Frank (Penny) Buchanan, Patti Buchanan, Daryl (Marie) Buchanan, Margaret (Trevor) Singbeil, Pam (George) Fenn, Shelley (Al) Johnstone and Robert Buchanan; her grandchildren, Sarah, David, Christopher, Michael, David, Peter, Kalah, Matthew, Jenetta, Adrian, Graeme, Brittany and Samantha (Ryan); her great-granddaughters, Emma and Hannah. She is also sadly missed by numerous other relatives as well as many dear friends from her church and community. Cremation has taken palce and a funeral service will be held on Monday, Junme 6, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Shaughnessy United Church, 1493 Magnus Ave. A reception will follow in the Parish hall. A private interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
