Bonita "Bonnie" Joyce Burry June 22, 1961 - June 04, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) BURRY, Bonita Joyce "Bonnie" - 43, Halifax, passed away at home, after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by her family on June 4, 2005. She was the adoring wife of Gary Burry; loving mother of Allison and Matthew; youngest daughter of Joyce and the late Leo Conrad; baby sister of Howard and Anne of Musquodoboit Harbour, Leona of Halifax, Charlie and Jacky of Halifax, Murray and Dorothy of Dartmouth, Dorothy and Rod of Halifax, Kirk and Ann of Halifax, Theresa and Kenneth of Halifax, Luci and Shannon of Middleton. She was also the courageous aunt and great-aunt of 20 nieces and nephews, and eight great-nieces and nephews. Bonnie followed in her dad's footsteps and was a long-standing employee for Olands Breweries. Bonnie was the first woman to join the Production Line in 1986. The first woman to join the UFCW Union 361. Visitation will be held in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax, today from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Dutch Village Road on Tuesday, June 7, at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lucasville Road, Lower Sackville.
