FERGUSON, MABEL HELEN The death of Mabel Helen Ferguson, of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Harold Ferguson, occurred on June 5, 2005 at Queen's North Health Complex, Minto, NB. Born in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia on June 21, 1906, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Lauretta (Baugild) Sodero. Mabel was a member of the Brunswick Street Baptist Church, a life member of Kingston Baptist Church, of Nova Scotia and a member of the Women's Missionary Society. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mabel is survived by her two nieces, Vicki Sharp (Paul) of Middle Cornwall, NS and Tannis Oickle of Dartmouth, NS. Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by two brothers, Fred and Murray Sodero and three sisters, Florence, Arlene and Lottie. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 6 to 7 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive. A Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday, June 7th, 2005 at 7 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ralph Irving officiating. Interment will take place on Wednesday at 7:30 pm from the Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg, NS.
