Alexander Crichton January 31, 1914 - June 06, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Calgary) Mr. Alexander “Alex” Crichton of Calgary passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on June 6, 2005 at the age of 91 years following a brief illness. Alex was born in Calgary on January 31, 1914. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1940-1945. Following his discharge he was employed with MacDonald Consolidated. In 1949 he went to work for Imperial Oil where he worked as a landman until his retirement in 1977. He is survived by one daughter Janet Crichton of Calgary, a nephew Scott Malcolm, two nieces Sandra Hay and Amy-Jo Hobbs. He was predeceased by his wife Helen Elizabeth, a sister Helen Malcolm, two brothers Peter and William and his parents William and Janet Crichton. A Memorial Service will be held at Living Spirit United Church, 900-47 Ave SW on Thursday June 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev Gordon Churchill officiating.
