Richard George Lee March 13, 1947 - June 06, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) LEE, Richard George - 58, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully Monday, June 6, 2005, at home, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Marsden and Evelyn (Logan) Lee. Richard worked from the time he was 16 for CNR for 16 years and then for Action Delivery as Operations Manager for 10 years. He then started his own company, New Century Courier, and successfully ran that company for five years. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Deborah (Collett); sons, Richard Jr. (Melanie), Sackville; Larry, Beaver Bank; daughters, Kelly-Ann (Marcell) Slawter, Trenton, Ont.; Tracy (Horace) Austin, Dartmouth; brother, Larry, Dartmouth; sisters, Judy, Windsor, Ont.; Carolyn, South West Port Mouton, Queens Co.; Christine, Dartmouth; mother-in-law, Jean Collett, Dartmouth; brother-in-law, John Collett, Dartmouth. He will always be remembered by his wonderful grandchildren, Tasha, Chantelle, Amanda, Cody, Jordan, Nicholas, Joshua and Jayden, who loved and cherished him. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where the family will receive friends from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and Thursday, where the funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Friday, June 10. Reception to follow in Atlantic Funeral Home Family Reception Centre. Special thanks to his many friends, Dr. Dupere, Dr. Wadden, Susan and Monica from Palliative Care, Harding Medical Supplies, Our Friends Pub, and the numerous VON nurses who came to care for him.
