Arthur Edward Walsh February 21, 1940 - June 08, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) WALSH, Arthur Edward - 65, Dartmouth. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Arthur Walsh, Wednesday, June 8, 2005, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Mount Tryon, P.E.I., he was a son of the late Edward James and Florence (Quigley) Walsh. Art was a carpenter and a real family man who enjoyed family gatherings and hunting with his brothers and brother-in-law. He so enjoyed the afternoon crib games with his buddy Steve. We were richly blessed to have him another 21 years after surviving a major heart attack. He was given renewed life when he was blessed with six grandchildren. He dearly loved each and every one of them. They all gave him precious memories. He is survived by his loving wife who loved him dearly as husband and friend, Jemima (MacDonald) Walsh; daughter, Kimberly (Trevor) Crowe, Seattle, Wash.; sons, Elwin (Erin) and George (Lorie), both of Dartmouth; grandchildren, Sydney, Jared, Maxx and Nate Crowe, Ryan Cross and Eric Walsh; brothers, Wyman (Barb), Jim (Shirley); sisters, Louise (Mike) Atwell, Margaret (Steve) Burns and Carol Bainbridge, all of Dartmouth; sister-in-law, Marina Walsh, Sackville; several nieces and nephews. Art dearly loved them all. He was predeceased by brothers, Carl, and George in infancy. Art will always be loved in our hearts. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 10, Robert McIlwaine and Arthur Quigley officiating. Interment will follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens with Lloyd Cain officiating at the interment. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
