VAUGHAN-EVANS, David Ivor 1929-2005 Quietly at Rideaucrest Home on January 10, 2005. Beloved husband and best friend for 51 years to Mary (de Grace). They were married on October 10, 1953 in Smiths Falls. Loving father to Anne, Laurie, Ken and Jim. Proud granddad to Tom, Sam, Jessica, Ashleigh and Dru. Survived by his step-sister Wendy, sister-in-law Marie and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ken and Mary Philip and sister Gwynneth. Cremation has taken place. Ashes will be interred at Green Lawn Cemetery in Windsor. A memorial service will be at St. Barnabas Anglican Church in Windsor. After graduating from Queen's University, most of his teaching career was at W. F. Herman Collegiate in Windsor. Many thanks to Dr. Tim Webb and Laurie and Dr. Cristoveanu and the caring people at the Garden Walk Terrace at Rideaucrest Home.
